History of Clive Community Foundation
The Clive Community Foundation (CCF) was formalized in December 2013 as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines. The Clive Community Foundation was formed to help connect donors with resources for supporting community betterment initiatives throughout the city of Clive.
Clive Community Foundation Impact Fund
Invites individuals, foundations and corporations to support significant projects that strengthen the quality of life, health and wellness and promote collaboration for the benefit of those who live, work, learn and play in Clive.
Clive Community Foundation Endowment Fund
The Clive Community Foundation is proud to be able to offer the Endow Iowa State Tax Credit, where donors may receive a 25% Iowa state tax credit for gifts made to permanent endowment funds that benefit Iowa charitable causes and provide sustainable support to Iowa nonprofits. The Endow Iowa Tax Credit program provides unique tax benefits to the donor and impacts their community now and into the future.
Clive Public Art Fund
Promotes the creation and display of public art throughout Clive.
Clive Greenbelt Maintenance Fund
Supports on-going efforts to maintain public access and promote safety, including erosion protection and flood control.
Clive Library Fund
Helps to enrich programs and expand resources available through the library.
Clive Greenbelt Reinvestment Fund
Donations to this fund will support significant enhancements of the Greenbelt Landing. This multi-year project will include a total renovation of the current community building and the addition of a playground, wetlands walk, and performance stage. Pond access will be increased, and traffic flows around the Aquatic Center will be improved.
Tax Benefits
Clive Community Foundation (CCF) donors receive full tax benefits including access to Endow Iowa Tax Credits – a 25% Iowa tax credit in addition to normal federal charitable income tax deductions for certain charitable gifts.
