
Terry Lutz
Board member Terry Lutz serves as McClure’s Chief Executive Officer. Throughout his 40 year career, Terry has facilitated and led planning efforts with multi-governmental and private sector stakeholders to develop community and regional growth opportunities. Using a unique blend of engineering knowledge and political savvy, Terry has successfully helped communities and regions create long-range visions and strategic plans to drive economic and community development. Terry has worked with communities from over 400,000 in population on complex water infrastructure programs to communities as small as 1,200 people. He has the soft skills needed to create collaboration between groups with diverse interests to arrive at common goals.
Terry served as the Mayor of Fort Dodge (pop. 26,000) from 2006-2009. As Mayor, Terry drove strong collaboration between the city and county governments to create a vibrant development program that set the stage for transformative projects that boosted the tax base throughout the city, county, and broader region. Terry has developed over 1,500 acres privately into residential, commercial, and industrial uses.
