Bob Forte and his family moved from the Chicago area to Clive, Iowa, in January 2016. Shortly after moving he decided to retire from career pursuits in consumer products and education. After retiring he became involved in several local Clive activities. He was a coordinator for the Clive Health and Wellness Initiative for two years working with local organizations to improve overall physical health of the community. In 2017, he became a member of the Board of Adjustment. He joined the Clive Community Foundation Board of Directors in 2019 where he is also a member of the Marketing Committee.
He and his wife, Amy, participate in the annual Clive Lions Club Holiday Basket program. He has volunteered at Clive Community Services and the Food Bank of Iowa working with partner agencies and training volunteer groups.
Bob has a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
He and his wife, Amy, have been married for 31 years and have three children. Austin, a 2015 Drake graduate, is in the banking business in the Denver area. Zoe, a 2019 Bradley graduate, is an oncology nurse at Methodist hospital in Peoria, Illinois. Mason, a graduate from DMACC is a manager for a Walgreen’s store in Longmont, Colorado.
