Jennifer Rhuppiah moved to Iowa from Dallas, Texas over 15 years ago to attend Drake University Law School. Five years ago, Jennifer settled in Clive with her husband Charles and their two children, Charlie (5) and Justine (4).
Outside of a short period of time where she promoted the state of Iowa to international investors, Jennifer has spent most of her professional career in the regulatory industry in varying capacities, including insurance, banking and financial services, healthcare and utilities. Currently, she is the manager of regulatory strategy for ITC Midwest, an independently owned transmission company. Prior to joining ITC Midwest, she worked for the Iowa Utilities Board.
In addition to her professional roles, Jennifer serves on the Clive Board of Adjustment. She is involved with organizations such as Investing in My Future which focuses on preparing youth for college and trade school opportunities, and Jack and Jill of America, which provides scholarships for high school seniors heading to four-year universities. Previously, she has been involved with the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Iowa and other mentoring programs within the state. Jennifer was honored in 2021 as a Forty under 40 by the Des Moines Business Record.
Jennifer received her B.A. from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois, and her J.D. from Drake University.
