Clive Community Foundation Names New Board Members and Officers

CLIVE, IOWA – January 25, 2021 – At its January board meeting, the Clive Community Foundation (CCF) welcomed four new board members to serve the organization. Established in 2013, the foundation ignites philanthropy through distributing charitable contributions from Clive-area businesses and residents. CCF shares these gifts with not-for-profit organizations that directly support Clive’s quality of life, health and wellness, and ongoing collaboration with other communities.

The new CCF board members include:
• Kyle Carlson, senior government relations director, Anthem, Inc.
• Katie Hall, director of government affairs, Iowa Institute of Cooperatives
• Colleen Powell, media personality and community volunteer
• Russ Vannorsdel, vice president, Fridley Theatres

Jane Fogg, Clive Community Foundation president, and John Rigler, vice president, will continue to serve the foundation in these key leadership roles. The full executive committee includes:
• Jane Fogg, president
• John Rigler III, vice president
• Scott Cirksena, past president
• Jenna Brownell, secretary/treasurer
• Bob Forte, at-large director
• Susan Judkins, donor relations

“We are so excited about the talent and commitment from these local leaders and we look forward to the work ahead in 2021,” said Jane Fogg, CCF board president. “The entire board also wants to acknowledge and recognize outgoing board members Jim Aipperspach and Bob Landess as they conclude their many years serving the foundation. Both Jim and Bob have been with the foundation since the beginning and we sincerely thank them for their service to Clive.”

Representation on the CCF board cannot exceed 15 members and each board member is selected based on their individual interest to serve the educational, cultural, recreational, civic, moral, public, or other charitable needs of the Clive community. The board of directors oversees several committees including marketing, grant-making/community needs assessment, and fundraising.

If you have an interest in becoming involved, contact CCF Board President Jane Fogg at (515) 360-2626, or CCFoundationPresident@gmail.com.
