After The Fire, CCS Carries On

Posted on 10.07.21 by Clive Community Foundation

Clive Community Services receives check from Clive Community Foundation.

On Monday, October 4, the Clive Community Foundation presented a check to Clive Community Services, in appreciation of their on-going services to our community. Accepting the check for CCS was Stephanie Horak, the organization’s President. Clive Community Services opened its doors in August of 2016.

Since the May, 2021 fire, the partnerships CCS has with DMARC (Des Moines Area Religious Council), Food Bank of Iowa, and Free Clinics of Iowa have enabled them to maintain food pantry service during normal hours and other services with reduced hours and services in the parking lot.

The process of getting up and running at 100% in their remodeled space will take a couple more months.

Thank you for your support of Clive Community Services and for helping them continue to do wonderful things for our neighbors!

If you want to make a donation you can send checks payable to the Clive Community Foundation and note that your donation is earmarked for Clive Community Services.
