Michael Anthony
Michael Anthony grew up on the south side of Des Moines. After college, he lived in West Des Moines until 2011 when he and his wife Jennifer built their house in Clive. Mike has three girls, Everlee (12), Emerson (9) and Estelle (6) and a dog named Lucy.
Mike’s professional experience has been focused on design and construction. He is currently Senior Project Manager for The Opus Group, an integrated, design-build General Contractor. Prior to joining Opus, he spent 15 years with Shive-Hattery serving in various leadership, design and management roles. Mike has been a licensed engineer in the State of Iowa since 2010.
Mike spends a lot of time with St. Francis of Assisi Parish where his family are members and kids attend school. He coaches his daughter’s soccer, basketball and softball teams.
Mike’s work, Opus, is an active supporter of a number of charities throughout the Des Moines metro area, and frequently volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and Meals for the Heartland.
Mike graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
