Clive Community Foundation Now Accepting Grant Requests
Request submission and review process opens August 1.
CLIVE, IOWA – July 25, 2016 – The Clive Community Foundation (CCF) will begin accepting grant requests from qualifying organizations starting Monday, August 1, 2016. The requests for funds will be reviewed and administered from August 1 through October 1.
The CCF plays a key role in providing grants to non-profit organizations whose needs specifically align with the organization’s mission and priorities to strengthen the Clive and neighboring communities.
“For the past three years, the Clive Community Foundation has been building the infrastructure to define our community’s priorities and address the underserved needs,” said Jon Garnaas, board president. “We promote giving and connect donors with the causes they care about. And most importantly, many of the gifts to CCF may qualify for an Endow Iowa Tax Credit.”
The primary areas of focus for CCF include improving:
- Quality of Life – investments in Clive’s greenbelt, parks and trails, including the development of public art and educational programming.
- Community Health – funding local outreach that benefits low-income Clive residents, including providing food assistance, nutrition and health management programs and working with local agencies that offer these services.
- Community Collaboration – working in tandem with existing Clive organizations, as well as Clive’s neighboring cities and foundations in and around central Iowa.
To learn more about the grant-funding opportunity, download an application and understand CCF’s funding criteria, please visit our Grants page. Grant dollars are limited and available to non-profit organizations that have a commitment to one of the three pillars defined above as demonstrated on the application. The application review process will be open from August 1 to October 1. Please contact CCF Board Member Lu Anne Gafford via email at LGafford@bankerstrust.com for more information or to return a grant application.
